        Hi,

I did a previous post about the humping going on between my bonded pair. Neither of them are bothered by it. I noticed yesterday that ginger (the boy) looked to fall off on his side. Both ginger and misty are both neutered and have been for over a year. I was just wondering, was this a coincidence or was he really err falling off. I know that the male falls off during real mating, however thought that it wasn’t the case once neutered. Have I just caught a coincidence of him dismounting her and falling or did he really fall off? He did seem to freeze and fall off, which led me to believe that it wasn’t a coincidence. Any advice would be great. Like I said neither bunnies bother each other when they are humping and it never turns nasty.

How old is he? And how long has he been neutered? Sorry, I must have missed your other thread.

Hmm… well, he’s way past having leftover hormones post-neuter. This is interesting. But what you’re describing definitely sounds like he is “finishing”. Did this only happen once? If it was a one-time thing, then he could have just tripped. I guess if you see it happen again, then you might want to explore this further.
