So I had to take my bunnies to the boarding facility at my exotic vet for thanksgiving weekend because I couldn’t take them with me on my vacation to Hawaii.
I brought them back after about 4-5 days I believe, so their smell should be on everything in my room.
They are totally fine and healthy. I even think they got chubbier to be honest.
BUUUUUTTT, Venus is trying to hump Luna. They are both spayed, so hormones shouldn’t be the issue.
Luna takes it for a while but gets annoyed and runs away. Venus follows. Luna just avoids. Venus gives up.
They both end up chilling for a bit together as in next to each other. Then, repeat.
I don’t think there is much fur pulling or anything. I don’t see any injuries or much fur flying around (but theres an occasional fluff from the lil scuffle). Something like this happened after I brought them back from Guam, but i didn’t think they’d go at it after only being away from home for 5 days. Venus isn’t humping Luna’s face as far as I’ve seen, so I’m not extremely concerned about injuries.
Should I just let them do their dominance thing for the next few days and let them sort it out?
I’m just concerned cause Venus seems very vigorous and Luna doesn’t fight back. She just kind of takes it and then darts off when it gets too annoying.
