Hi. I recently moved to Texas and the temperatures here are much higher than we are used to. My rabbits room doesn’t have central air but she has a window a/c unit that is on most of the day. It cools the room down but it’s still warm enough that her greens will wilt if she doesnt eat right away. Once they are wilted she won’t eat them and I end up throwing half of her food away. I’ve tried changing the types I serve her but she is really fussy about what she will eat. Any suggestions? Thanks

All moisture on the surface needs to be dried off. Rinse all of the veggies in really cold water, then dry them really well before serving. That’ll make them last the longest.

            Thank you! I’ll try that.

If you happen to be home most of the day, you could give her more frequent feedings, with a smaller quantity of greens in each feeding. She would then hopefully finish the greens before they had a chance to wilt.
