        Hi Friends,

I know this is the age-old question. I’ve had my 2 bunnies, Freddie and Hummus, for 4 years now, and mostly I’ve kept wooden furniture away from them/they don’t seem interested in painted furniture from Ikea (or maybe  that’s because it’s a weird wood & plastic combo?). They’ve eaten part of my bedside table and a bookcase, but those were not valuable and not picked by me and I didn’t really care.

However, I’m moving to a new place that already has a bed in the room, and the landlord asked if I’d be okay using that. It’s a queen size which is an upgrade and I like the room a lot and want to make it work. I thought the bedframe was metal, however, it turns out to be wood! Now I’m worried. I want my bunnies to free roam, but this is not my bed to destroy! The landlord is friendly and willing to work with me. I suggested packing tape but she was worried about a residue, which I understand. Any other ideas??

        Thank you!!

You could make a “skirt” to go completely around the bed out of NIC cube grids, if you don’t mind how that would look!

I’e also seen people get pieces of large diameter pvc pipe to put over furniture legs.

You can use larger diameter PVC pipe pieces to surround the legs. Or even heavy cardboard folded around the legs and taped. The tape wouldn’t be touching the wood, just the cardboard.
