How to improve Barney and Belle’s habitat? Pics :)

Hey everyone! I wanted to build my buns an NIC cage, but with the space we have I can only really expand it upwards. So I had a look at some X – Pens instead and was considering getting one heigh enough to build some levels, but that is looking difficult too! Barney and Belle have what must be one of the largest cages on the market, its 140cm long and 60cm heigh, and must be at least 60cm deep too! It’s a fab size compared to most of the cages you can buy!

Then they also have their rug infront of their cage that they can play on whenever they fancy.

Does anyone have any ideas about how I could improve their cage? At the moment it has a dog bed and corner litter tray in it, both of which are used as litter trays or places for Belle to rest, whichever they fancy! Belle is 3 legged and due to missing a front leg she likes to have somewhere to rest that supports her

We used the NIC cubes for Pumpkin’s condo. It definitely took some time and a patient husband, but was totally worth it! I think your buns would probably love to have a bigger space, even if you end up building up instead of out. I think JackRabbit’s bunny Keiko has a condo that is taller vs. wide; she might be able to share some pictures if you message her!
