If this question has been asked, I apologize but the search bar seems to be down for maintenance right now and I would like an answer as quick as possible to make sure I am doing the right thing for my bunnies at an early stage.
Earlier today I got 2 female mini rex”s. They are 3 months old. Before coming home today they were in the same bunny pen with their other siblings and they all seemed friendly with each other. The goal is to hopefully have them bonded after being spayed and separated while recovering. But I have researched and found some mixed responses about what I should do in the meantime.
Until they are both ready to be spayed should I keep them in their own separate areas? But still be close to each other as long as they aren’t close enough to bite each other? Would this give them a better chance of possibly bonding later and/or not fighting until then? Or can I still keep them housed together until they’re spayed?
