Hi, I am new to this. I had a question on diet, can you overfeed greens to a bunny? I give her greens once in the moring with her pellets to tide her over while I am at work, then make her a large bunny salad with greens andparsley. Also a nighlty piece of bananna or strawberry.

Hi binking buttercup, and welcome to BinkyBunny!

I guess you can overfeed greens, that is give them enough that they stop eating hay or have poopy butt problems, but your schedule sounds very much like what I give my bunnies.  They get a salad in the morning, then their pellets, and then in the evening they get another salad with a tiny treat before bed.  Just make sure that the fruit treats you give are really really small, like half a strawberry or a sliver of apple.  Sugar can make bunnies sick and can also lead to unwanted weight gain.  If you click the ‘Bunny Info’ tag at the top of the page and the select ‘Diet’, you’ll see some guidelines about what to feed your bunny.
