How many toys!

I know a lot of people who don’t get many toys for their dogs because they think everything is a toy then. Does that apply to bunnies? Should I wait to give him all his toys and gradually work up? Or should I give them all at once? Will they get bored with them if there’s not something “new”? How many toys do your bunnies typically have at once ?

It’s a good idea to rotate toys as they do get bored. My bunnies always have a chewing toy – so apple twigs, a willow tunnel, log, or willow balls, and they always have hidey boxes.

To be honest, those are the only toys they really ‘play’ with, but I do try and vary the type of chewing toy, and I swap boxes around to keep it interesting.

Lots of bunnies tend to be disinterested in toys unless they are food based.

Hi I always have available for our bunny willow sticks and some kind of grass toy – braided grass stick, grass mat, etc. and we do always keep his tunnel out as he always hops over it and through – he loves it. Other toys we rotate.

My bunnies always have their stacking cups out in their room, plus their log tunnels (3x) Then we tend to rotate cardboard/diy toys which we usually use to stuff hay into. They get willow toys every so often: baskets, balls, dumbells etc. These last as long as it takes them to eat them lol. Plus they get given apple sticks and/or pear sticks every day or every other day. Other plastic toys such as cars, buckets/plant pots get rotated. In my room they always have their plastic bowling pins and their new ikea bunny bed.
