  Belle, Cornelius and Ferdinand (from bunny heaven) have a blog and have some traffic from other bunny owner blogs. I’ve even made their blog into a "blidget" – or widget using widgetbox – http://www.widgetbox.com/widget/bunny-blog-belle-and-ferdinand-the-bunnies – so my pals have it on their Facebook pages. Does anyone else have one?

  I would like to but I’m sort of “behind the times” as far as blogs go but I do plan on eventually learning to make one to go with my bunny website. What is a widget?

  A widget is a little “bite size” piece of the web. So for example if you have an iGoogle page you can add areas of interest like the weather or ‘house bunny tips’ with the binkybunny widget and get a feed of information in without actually having to go directly to the website. You can also add widgets or ‘applications’ to personalize your profile on a social community – like MySpace or Facebook.   If you do want to start a blog – it is very quick and simple then I like the blogger service — http://www.blogger.com (which integrates nicely with any gmail account you have) or wordpress.org. I always find it is a nice way of showing off the kids and keeping in touch with people!

  I have a facebook account that I just started and I use myspace (both accounts are reallly under my bunny Jack’s name, it’s more fun to make a blog from a bunny’s point of view) We have a blog on this site, but the blog software is terrible. We’ll be changing that in the new year. I’ll have to check out the blog feature on facebook.

  A blog is a bit like this forum – you just add notes on what you are (or your buns!) are up to – and then add photo or even video. I’ve found so many bunnies that look the same as Belle from reading other blogs.. I had no idea she was a "common" looking bun!   Know what’s kind of funny. I’m 21 and I didn’t know what MySpace was until 2 years ago and just recenlty found out about blogs, it’s crazy how fast technology goes by if you aren’t looking. We don’t have cable (no time and plus we don’t want our 1 year old watching tv so it’d just be a waste of money for us) and we rarely read the newspaper but even with the internet we still fall behind on stuff. I’d like to start a bunny blog. I was thinking of one for my family but I am so ify on putting picts of my hubby, myself or daughter online unless I can have complete privacy from anyone I don’t know since they can still get your picture and with all the weirdos out there (I’ve been told I’m paranoid, but i’d rather be safe than sorry).

  I know how you all feel about technology…I just found out what bluetooth was about a year ago, my camera is only a four mega pixel (although really I don’t know what that is anyways hehe) my video camera still has tapes in it, and yes I own a vcr!! I am on facebook, but I missed the boat on myspace heehe My boyfriend is the tech guy, he’s constantly shaking his head at me! *shrugs*

  I have a humanblog for myself. lol. I was thinking of starting a bunnyblog so I can post pictures and stuff but I didn’t think anyone would want to read it. I think i’m the only person who wants to talk about my bunnies all day. =P

  You’d think, but no. I suggested to my friends/readers that I start a filter so that everyone didn;t have to be inundated with all my bunny stories. EVERYONE said no – that they loved the bunny stories most of all!
