Hi long time reader first time poster here

I have two bunnies: benben (neutered male, NZW, a little less than 1yo) and doedoe (female flemish giant , about 6mo) they don’t get along very well, I’ve tried to bond them before and they chased each other in circles and pulled each other’s fur out. I read that you should make sure both buns are spayed / neutered before bonding so I’ve been putting them in different cages and take turns to let them out to play for a few months. I’m getting my doedoe spayed this thur so I’m wondering how long after spaying can I try to bond them again? Thanks

Females take anywhere from a month to six months to lose their hormones. Youll want to stop trying to put them together (every scuffle like that you let them have, the less they will like one another and the harder bonding will be). Swapping their items or cages like youve been doing is what youll want to while you wait for your little lady to heal
