  Hi there everybody. I read this forum whenever I have bunny concerns but I haven’t made an account until now. Hope everyone is doing well.
  
  I just have a question. My rabbit has fleas so I took him to the vet and he was given some Revolution. It’s been about 24 hours since and he’s still scratching a lot, so I’m just wondering how long it usually takes for the scratching to lessen? When should I start being concerned that it’s been too long?

  Welcome to BB! I’m sorry you’re going through this, and am glad you decided to post here.
  
  I do not have experience with fleas, so I would refer these questions to your vet who has an idea of the severity of your rabbit’s condition. Also remember to clean your rabbit’s environment as well. It’s reported that if the problem is not gone, reapply in 30 days: https://wabbitwiki.com/wiki/Fleas
  
  Also, just make sure your vet is indeed rabbit savvy because you want to ensure you’re rabbit received the correct dosage based on weight.

  Rabbits can still feel itchy even after the fleas are being killed. It’s the same with dogs. Their skin can have an allergic reaction to the flea bites and the more they scratch, the more their skin becomes irritated. So it can take some time for the irritation to resolve. Since it has only been a day, I would not be concerned yet. Give it a week or two.

  Thank you both for your responses. I checked out the link you gave Wick & Fable. The dosage I was given was around what I think it’s supposed to be. He was given 30mg and he weighs 1.74kg. I read it was around 18mg/kg?
