Just random curiosities! I wonder what kind of factors play into how our bunnies sleep. Binkles always slept in an egg/ sphinx and with her eyes wide open, but in the same environment, Little-Bit sleeps completely sprawled out with her chin on the ground and her eyes closed.

Mr. Bunny sleeps either in a bunny flop with his head leaning on his paws or with his back legs under him and the front ones stretched out. His eyes aren’t ever completely closed, though…They’re always open just a crack.

Fluff sometimes sprawls our with his back feet spread and his tail in the middle or he curls up in a ball with his feet tucked him. Puff  does the bunny ball thing, as does Foofoo. Bella kittys in a buny ball right now, i havent had her long enough to know her normal patterns yet. Fluff and puff like to streach out against the side of there cage and snuggle close to.

All of my three rest in the bunny loaf/Easter Egg position (usually in their cardboard houses) but when they are in a deep sleep they are sprawled out flat on their sides. My lop, Bindi, sleeps really deep sometimes. He’s given me a few scares. He just looks too peaceful when he sleeps. When Olivia and Stormy are sprawled out asleep, they usually wake up before I’m even in the rabbit room.

Nel used to sleep in bunny loaf position with eyes wide open, but lately she’s really mellowed out. Now she does the full blown eyes closed molten bunny, her floppy ears spread across the floor. She looks so peaceful. Occasionally I catch her making little sounds like she’s dreaming. It prompts me to wonder what bunnies dream about.

Sprawled out in the middle of the dining room floor. Many times, I find Velvet and Dancer’s backs squished to each other and them laying on their side, legs all flopped out, totally relaxed. Dancer likes to sleep on his belly, too. Butt in the air, huge long tail (he tries to be a rat), legs almost in frog-position. The other day, I saw his two feet sticking out of a box and I thought something bad had happened. It’s rare to see them sleep anywhere else but in the middle of the room.

Lilly lies upside down, eyes tightly shut – but only if Jack is next to her to protect her! Jack stretches out, and rests his head on his fat chin!!

Kay normally sleeps in the loaf position with eyes about half closed. Sometimes she flops out on her side for a few minutes with her eyes closed. It is super cute when she flops and curls herself around Winston!
Winston is either a loaf or lamb-chop sleeper, also with his eyes half closed.
Under this chair is their favorite nap spot.

My Lily sleeps in a bunny ball, whether she’s out in the open or tucked inside her cardboard maze.

When she’s awake and just hanging out, she lays with her feet out behind her (i love it!!)

                              Kaye sleeps like Mr. Bunny

My buns flop completely on their sides sometimes even thier backs kind of, they sit in the loaf position too! Eyes always closed, ears flopped down to the ground. I love it when my girl sleeps, sometimes she lays her head flat on the floor and her ears and so big that they touch the floor, it is very cute!!! My boy, Davey, will lay down and I have sat and watched him dream for probably at least ten minutes. His legs were going and he was chewing and little mouth twitching. It was hilarious! He starts to wobble and rock back and forth, whole body, and he tilts his head up to the ceiling and closes his eyes. They are so weird but you cant help but love them!

Sammy always flops right after every meal and sleeps in this pose. It’s the only place she sleeps, but she does it a lot. I started to worry, except she wakes up and is ready to go after about 10 minutes. If she sleeps any other way, I’ve never seen it.

Nova sleeps on her phone book in loafing form. Hubble now (finally!) sleeps stretched out, in the lamb-chop pose. He finally looks relaxed.
