My rabbit who is about 10weeks old has very bizzare behaviour.

He’s a loving social happy bunny who gets fre roam of a bedroom when I get home from work for about 5 hours.

During his free roam time he will go into his open cage up to the top floor and chew his bars for a short while.

Any ideas why he does this?

His cage is open he has plenty things to chew and dig. It’s almost like he chooses to do it just for the hell of it then comes back out and has a run around.

Otherwise he is happy and healthy and loves to follow me everywhere (including the bathroom, so much for privacy haha)

If there are plenty of other things to chew, it could be that it’s trying to get your attention. 😄

Bunnies are weird and will test boundaries even though there is an obvious exit. I would not be concerned unless he does this obsessively. If it’s an obsessive behavior, he could potentially bite too hard and hurt his teeth.
