We currently have our 2 year old rabbit and he is really a great rabbit. He has a large dog pen attached to his very big cage which the cage door is never closed because he has his pen attached.

I do let him free roam it I have to very closely supervise him. We have old couches that are already in rough shape and he loves our couch. It’s leather. He likes to lick the couch. However he also has chewed the couch.

we desperately need new furniture but my husband doesn’t want him on the furniture understandably.

my concern is also him ruining our new furniture. But I also want to free roam him when I’m able to supervise.

is there something I can buy to put on a new couch? Or should I not let him free roam anymore?

They make covers for furniture to protect it from dogs. Would something like that help?

I did mention that to my husband. I just am not sure if it would protect the couch if he decides to bite. I’ll do some research and see what I can find out

            thank you
