  So yesterday we took the buns outside (we have outdoor cages for them to get some grass and exercise -we bought them for inside but they are banks of cages, and they don’t fit inside nor are they big enough for the buns to live in, so they are for outtings) to do nice photos of them for the website, name them, double-check-sex them, clip nails/check body conditions and let them have some fresh air (The leaves on the ground are willow and apple, don’t worry!! )

  Finnegan, baby, quite likely eight weeks old; Very well tempered and easy to hold. From auction was going to meat buyer.

  Next up is Huckelberry, named after watership down bunny; Also from auction and going to meat buyer. Very sweet and easy to handle. Immediately kisses you!’

  This is Morley, the young lop that a new user on here saved from being ‘set free’ and kept until we were able to take him!!

  Here’s Nala, quite obviously a lionhead (maybe a cross/maybe a single maned?) She was running wild all summer, a volunteers grandfather had been feeding her. We went over and caught her this week!

  This is Pacino, he’s Huckelberry’s brother. He’s called Pacino as he has scarring on his neck, likely from a dog/cat attack (whomever owned him, instead of looking after it, boxed him off and sent him to auctin. It looks like it’s not completely healed so he’s going to the vet tomorrow and getting neutered as well. He is crazy sweet as well.

  Awe that is just great. I love Priscilla’s huge ears. Cute girl. awe I wish I could do rescues. I know better than to try it again tho.

  Aaaahhh! I want Morley! PleasepleasepleasecanIcanIcanI???!!!! OMG, what a precious little black lop! Oh he is beautiful! That second picture, he looks almost like Mimzy, those eyes! *swoons*
  
  They are all adorable! I love the pix of Finnegan, he reminds me of Olivia (LPT’s bun) for some reason.

  Awww! They’re all so wonderful! I love Priscilla–she does look just like Jersey (at least as far I can tell). I LOVE her ears! Yes Jerseygirl, Jersey’s on the bun-nap list…but if I can get my paws on Priscilla, she might be safe!
  
  (Like I have any more room for any more bunnies…this is why I am not allowed to go to shelters anymore…I end up wanting to bring them all home!)

  awww these pictures are sooo gorgeous! it just proves how cute all bunnies are… there all different but oh so cute! i take it this is a rabbit rescue you work at or something? i wish there were more rescue centers for rabbits around here because i would love to be able to get involved with something like tht!

  I think I’ve had some desensitization (sp?) from volunteering with rescues for years…I’ve learned very that you CANNOT save them all no matter what you do and you know what? The one’s you do, you’ll never know how much you changed their lives-saved them really!! Absiolutely and they know it!
  
  You have to balance your sadness with your happiness, don’t let what you can’t do get you down, just love what you can do. It’s hard to do the front lines but it’s harder on the animals who end up on the front lines.
  
  As black beauty’s mother said ‘do your best, and leave the rest, t’will all come right, some day or night. ” It’s sort of like that…do you’re best!!

  I finally have converted my bf to a bunnyslave – he said to me yesterday that if we owned our own house, he’d adopt more bunnies (he’s thinking of a blue rex who has been at the shelter for a really long time & who is really shy).
