He must be going through puberty! They say buns can’t bond as babies because of the fact their mood and overall behavior normally changes when going through puberty. So a baby bun may seem to be bonded with another bun but as soon as that bun hits puberty it may not get along with the once assumed to be bonded bun. I’m not sure really why buns seem to not like eachother but I think it’s a status and territorial thing. Like one bun wants to be dominant, I’ve heard males compete to be dominant over one another (also that males can be friendlier than females) and females are just bossy. Of course they recommend bonding 1 male and 1 female but it seems you have more than 2 buns. I’d get him fixed if you can, it’s not as important for males to be fixed because there really isn’t any health concerns for an un fixed male bun but it may change the behavior since of course they have testosterone. He may go back to normal self when fixed. My rabbit digs a lot, so that’s normal. My bun is even spayed and still digs, its just part of behavior. For the honking, it seems you have a non aggressive bun who lets you know he doesn’t like something or another bun by honking. If you have a female who is fixed, you can start the bonding process and the honking would eventually diminish. I like to call my bun who honks sassy, I wouldnt say that he hates Benzo. He just isn’t bonded with him. There’s a lot of helpful bonding stuff on here!
