The only thing I can think of right now is a big paper bag with hay at the bottom. I put the bag on its side and she’s having a riot jumping on the bag, chewing the edges and deciding whether or not to go inside the bag to get the hay, haha

I also cut holes in the sides and top of a cardboard box and put it on the floor, and she likes that too. Of course I don’t let her eat the cardboard though.

        Any other ideas? Thanks!

          Aw! So cute!
A popular one on here is to get an egg carton and fill it with hay, pellets, and maybe a healthy treat. There’s a video on here somewhere! I think under “Bunny Info” and then there should be another section about toys.
While it’s not totally home made, I like getting some organic wheat grass that is still in the little cup thing (uncut! I’m so bad at explaining things…) and then sprinkle some pellets in it and let the boys dig for them. They stay entertained for a while and it’s healthy!
Toilet paper tubes work well too… my guys like to throw them around!

Have you tried cardboard tubes (paper towel tubes or toilet paper tubes) stuffed with hay? Bunnies seam to love those.

i took a tp tube, poked an apple twig through it, tied some twine around the twig, and hung it in rue’s cage. she loved to pull on it and bump it around with her nose. it lasted for a couple weeks before she finally chewed it down. she really likes bopping things with her nose. i think next time i’ll do the hay thing, and hang that in her cage!

I take the toilet paper tubes, or half a paper towel tube. Put some fruit like an apple slice in the middle then absolutely pack it as full as I can with orchard grass and/or timothy. It keeps Momo busy for about 10 minutes.

we hide a treat or two (baby carrot, piece of apple) in n empty kleenex box. Our bunnies love shaking it around, sticking their head int o get the treat, etc.
They also love these plastic balls that re meant fro kids to play with outside. They are white with holes all through them. We sometimes stick a few treats inside, but not always. They love the rattling sound of a treat inside. They also love to nose the balls around, or pick them up with their teeth and fling them. When they are in a good mood, you can slowly roll the ball to them, and then they will nose it back to you.

I second the kleennex box suggestion. I put a handful of hay in there and some healthy treats, Oreo loves trying to get to the treat or even just scooting the box around. I also have a old oatmeal cannister, the largest one I could find. I take off the lid and any plastic edging and stick some treats in the bottom of the tube for her to roll around and try to get out. She loves it

I had a kleenex box once for but Lulu got her head and two front paws stuck in it and I had to pull it off for her, and ever since I haven’t given them another one, just encase. But maybe I could cut the hole bigger.
