I finally made some biscuits.   They are cooking.  I winged it on the recipe so I have a lot of dough left over as I am only making one medium cookie sheet of them.  I put the left over dough in the fridge for right now.  If they are a hit, I’ll probably bake up the rest of it tomorrow.  Can the dough be frozen though?

And it would help if i didn’t burn them. So I guess it’s good I have lots of dough left over. LOL I will be trying to bake them tomorrow as it’s getting late in central Illinois.   Yep, bunnies snubbed the burned ones.  lol   Hopefully they don’t snub the non-burned ones.  ha

You could always freeze the dough- I have seen fundraisers where cookie dough for people cookies are in a plastic pail and kept frozen- so it should be fine to freeze rabbit cookie dough.

              How are they liking them?
My friends make alfalfa based dhydrated ones and my bunnies love them. I am trying to get my hands on a food dehydrator so I can make my own as well.

As mentioned, i believe you can freeze the dough.

Well…..they must have eventually ate the two I gave them last night cause they are not on the floor today! LOL I am baking another batch as we speak and hopefully I don’t burn these up. I was following the recipe before and I think for my oven, 400 degrees for 30 minutes was just too hot/long. So I’m baking them at 300 degrees and checking them every few minutes.

I’m kind of surprised they ate them. It was probably Eddie cause he is a freaking goat and eats everything. But when I gave the biscuits to them last night, I got the stink face from both of them. Like “WHAT are you trying to feed us?” lol

Eddie ate his! YAY! Lolli usually takes a while to decide if she likes a new treat or not. Usually Eddie eats hers before she gets around to it. I think she’s learned though. lol She growls at him now. LOL

hahaha, cute! Lops are like part Lab i think LOL… my mini Lop is a little garbage disposal, if it’s food he wants it. Actually my Rex was pretty much the same though.
I have bought these vegan fruit and veggies dog biskets for my bunnies. Some like them more than others, my two bigger bunnies get a bit of poop bum from them though.

Did you use a coffee grinder and pellets or hay as a base?

Yes, I used a coffee grinder and used pellets and old fashioned oats. I ended up adding a pinch of extra oats cause I thought I had too much berry puree vs dry ingredients. lol

Maybe it is a mini lop thing. I call Eddie my little goat monkey cause he eats everything like a goat and tries to climb on everything like a monkey. haha

Updated to add that Lolli likes them!  lol   Seems they are a hit even though Eddie’s still a bit iffy though.  He was with the ones Apple biscuits I bought until he saw Lolli eating them.  Boys.

Yes, now they both like them. I’m happy cause now I can quit buying raisins and whatnot and make my own. Eddie LOVES them now. So much so that he is biting me when he wants some and I won’t give him any. Cause giving kisses didn’t work. Sigh. Little bleeeeeppppp.
