  OMG – how cute is Bullit!!! How do you go about introducing the new guinea pig? Is it hard to introduce them like bunnies, or are they very accepting of all their fellow critters?

  Guinea pigs are a lot easier to bond than bunnies. They are a lot less likely to be aggressive. My other pig Toejam is kind of bossy so at first she was like “what the heck is this little furball doing in my cage?!” but she came around. They love being out of the cage together now. The pigs will chase each other around and do little popcorn jumps and on occasion, they’ll follow Frankie around the house and make a little bun-pig-pig train.

  whats having a guinea pig like? Are they as friendly and interactive as rabbits? i love the noises they make its so cute! my friend told me they were quite nasty though but she isnt the most animal orientated person so she probably doesnt know what she is on about what are they like?

  i had guniea pigs when i was a teenager. one had babies (she was PG at the petstore i got her at… didn’t realize). what kind of cage do you have them in… did you build one yourself? they need lots of flat running room…

  i LOVE mario kart (the picture of the bullet is from the games) i have it on every console it is fantastic and never gets old, i dont really still play video games at my age though *cough* haha, no its the only game i ever play, brilliant.

  Haha, K&D she’s definitely named after Bullet Bill from the Mario games… I can be a bit of a gaming nerd sometimes, esp when it comes to Nintendo!
  
  Also, guinea pigs usually have pretty mild temperaments. It can definitely vary depending on breed, etc. I’ve had some really calm piggies who like to be pet, but I’ve seen my share of psychotic ones that are skittish and run all over the place.They’re nowhere near as much fun (or smart) as rabbits in my opinion, but I love them!
  
  The cage for my piggies is a very large one I built from coroplast and storage cubes. I’ll take a picture for ya’ll.

  He jumps in there on occasion (usually to look for food), but the guinea pigs love it. They get all excited when he gets in there. The only thing I don’t like about him getting in there is he likes to use it as a third litter box.
