        Hi all,

It has been forever since I’ve been on here.  Being preggo has taken a lot out of me. I’m either working, sleeping, or lazying out with Holly.

Holly has become quite the cuddlebug.  Her new thing is to lick my arm while I’m petting her back.  I guess she thinks she’s petting me too.

I did a no no and held her in my hubbie’s favorite chair. Now, she thinks she can get up on it with out me.  She is so sneaky and quiet. We see her chilling in her favorite are by her enclosure one minute.  The next second she’s magically on the chair.  She’s doing better though.

It was so funny the other day. Hubby was sitting in the chair. Next think I see is a flying bunny aiming for his lap. He caught her and set her down.  We both had a good laugh. It was pretty funny.

I forgot to mention another crazy thing we are trying to break. My husband bought me a body pillow. I sometimes bring it out to the living room and use it. Holly loves to sit on it and dig at it because it is soft and squishy.  I have teased hubby and told him that Holly needed her own pillow. He didn’t go for that.

She’s too cute, but I know allowing her to do stuff just because it is cute is not right.  She is good training for me.

Teehee…I am trying to imagine the ‘flying bunny’ going for the lap. ^_^ I see my cats do it, but I can’t see my bun doing it. I don’t know WHAT my hubby would do if the bunny suddenly jumped on him like that…probably scream. 0_o
What a cute scene you’ve pictured for us here. Thanks Holly & Danielle!

^^^yes. they scream. Meadow takes flying leaps onto my husband when he is napping or relaxing on the couch. that never goes over very well…

welcome back Holly! i figured you’ve been busy or under-the-weather! i’m glad for the update tho. usually, all it takes is for a bun to be allowed somewhere once and then they “own” it.

oh, that’s funny! My son fell asleep on the couch the other night and woke to Lola sitting on his chest staring at him like HEY, this is MY spot!

rofl.   Yes they are something. When hubby is on my couch Cotton jumps up and scares him then looks at hubby like WHA? Thats my spot. I fell asleep on my couch and Cotton jumped on me and scared me awake. Scared himself too when I screamed.

Glad you are doing good with the little human baby coming along. Cool.

You know, I think I’ve noticed that with Mimzy too. Lately, we have ‘cuddle sessions’ in the evenings, usually on my lap on my bed. He’s begun trying to explore it, (the bed, not the lap), which is funny when he heads for the stuffed animals and I have to grab him quick before I lose him in the camouflage of all the other fuzzy creatures, and if I try to move him back up on my lap, he gets VERY irritated with me and starts the digging/nipping routine. I have to set him up on his heels and look him in the eye and give him a firm “NO!” Hmmm….doesn’t seem to be translating well. >_<

Now, when I take him from his pen for any reason, it’s over my shoulder and down on the bed. (He missed the other day and almost went to the floor, luckily my hay bins were right there so he didn’t fall far.) Then his first assignment is to find a way into that pile of funny looking bunnies that never move. >_> “Hmmmm….wonder why they’re sitting so still? Hey guys! Why so glum? LET’S BINKY!!!”

I can just imagine the conversation…all one sided. At least the plushies don’t scream. ^_^

HA ha. I’m glad Holly doesn’t talk. My hubby said I wish she could talk. I told hime she’s probably never shut up. She’s so active and always “bossing me around” in her own little way.

Hi Holly! It’s great to hear from you again! I’ve been thinking about you and how you are doing. This must be such an exciting change for you and again, I am so happy on the news of your little one on the way!

                          Hi Scarlet,
Yes, it sure has been. I’m not quite showing yet, but my hubby and I have noticed the changes physically. I had a laugh today. I was walking across to the parking lot, and one of my students who knows shouted across the parking lot, “When is your baby due?” I said in January. She then said “No, one knows, but my daughter is due in November and everyone knows.” I figured she meant know one can tell, because I know a lot of people who know. We haven’t kept it a secret, but if it was it is no longer.

Awe darn that it isn’t still quiet so you can approach it the way you wanted to. Oh well.

Say Holly, would you be interested in making posts like once a month on bunny how-to when you are pregnant? Stuff like how you adjust to cleaning, feeding and tending to your rabbit tips/hints/tricks and such? I think it is something really lacking on our board and would be useful for a lot of people. Of course it is totally up to you and I don’t want to offend you at all and I won’t be mad, sad or hurt if you say no thank you and I hope you do not mind me asking.

                            Sorry for hijacking the conversation!

                              No problem.

I think I can do that. Where would I post it?

Neat! How about in Diet & Care? I would be happy to add them to our FAQ section, in fact I am wondering if Beka will contribute her experiences too. We’ve got oodles of information but not too much about pregnancy, a baby or small child in the house when you have house rabbits. If you think of something easier for you like a journal-type entry that would be neat too.
