I have a plastic hidey house in my rabbits cage. She has chewed on it a little so it has become warn. I was wondering if I should get rid of it and buy her another plastic hidey house or if I should use a cardboard one?

Rabbits tend to like cardboard houses more because you can have two openings. In the wild rabbits live under ground and they always have an escape rout, they feel more safe if they have two doors. Also its ok if they happen to ingest some cardboard unlike plastic.

Yeah, get a cardboard one, they LOVE them.

I have a wooden hidey house for Penelope and she loves it! I don’t remember what type of wood it is, but I did look it up before I bought it to make sure it wasn’t poisonous. It’s SUPER durable. I’ve had it for almost three years now and it barely shows any wear and tear. She loves to chew on it also.
