  My rabbit looks like he has the hiccups. Does anyone know what this is? What causes this? How can I stop it?

  Hiccups are not unusual. Wick has them from time to time. They usually stop fairly soon after they begin.
  
  If it persists or is very frequent, take note of what your rabbit’s doing before it starts and consult a vet.

  Hiccups, in rare cases, can be a sign of heart or digestive problems. So have your vet give a good listen to your bun next time you’re in for a checkup. In most cases, however, they’re just hiccups and should subside as soon as you pet your bun’s back.

  Buttercup used to get hiccups once a day but it was usually right after eating and it only lasted 15 to 30 seconds. She hasn’t had them for a while tho!
