  Zeus has found 2 great new ways to manipulate me into petting him.
  
  The first way, is he will come up to me while I’m sitting on the floor typing on my netbook, and rest his head in the crook of my elbow. He’ll squish his fat little cheeks into the crook and just stare up at me. “Hey, down here. Look, I’m being cute. My little cheeks are adoreable, aren’t they? You should pet them. Really, you should.”
  
  The second way he’s just started doing, and I find it hilarious and adoreable. Same situation, me sitting on the floor. He’ll come up, crawl up my arm, REST HIS PAWS ON MY SHOULDER (he’s a big bun so he can reach from the floor!), and with his face inches from mine, he’ll stare. I can literally feel his whiskers on my face when he does this. ”Hey, look what I can do! Aren’t I cute? I’m all stretched out! Since I’m up here.. pet me!”

  Cotton gets on top his cage by the couch and lowers his little head saying pet me. NOW

  Hatter will come up and nudge both my feet and than assume the position….if I don’t pet him he’ll come up and nudge them again….

  Lollipop doesn’t like a whole lot of petting, but she is starting to put her head down for pets when she lets me get near her on the floor. I’ll put my hand out and if she wants nose pets, she’ll put her head down! YAY!! I’m a dork, but this is a huge thing for us. lol
  
  As for Eddie, what doesn’t he do? LOL If he wants snuggle time (me holding him and petting him), I’ll hold out my hands/arms and he’ll hop up to me. If I’m on the floor, he’s all over me with kisses. I’m always petting him though so I don’t think he gets a chance to beg. ha But on occasion, he’ll follow me around until I pick him up. And he has thumped at me when I’ve put him down before he was done with snuggle time. lol

  Stormy will leap onto the couch where I’m sitting and put his head down.
  Ben will nibble on your shoes, knowing he always gets picked up by his daddy and petted when he does so.

  my lil Chace dont really like getting touched.but on those times that i really wanna pet him,he puts his head down and it seems like he loves it.i wish he would be more touchy touchy with us

  Peter gets really insistent about pets late in the evening — he’s free roaming, but usually ends up on my bed around 9 or so. He usually lays down next to me and stretches his head out in the I-want-pets position. It’s too sweet to not comply, but if I don’t for some reason, he’ll often bounce to the end of the bed and shoot me looks over his shoulder. I just tried to explain this to a friend over the phone and they thought I was crazy for suggesting Peter could give me attitude like that — little do they know! : )

  Arduina will just follow me around the house or run around my feet (tripping me!)

  Hmm, lets see. Before my bunny become the diva that she is now, I used to pet her and she would nibble my finger to keep on petting.
  
  Now, she just sits down and stares at me. Stares at me until I notice her staring at me. Sits like the diva that she is.
  
  She has got me wrapped around her PAW!
  
  She actually just sits underneath this weird place in the living room and waits. LOL.

  I’ve actually been trying to get a picture, but it’s hard to take one with just one hand when he’s so close.
