Stinkin’ Leo!  I believe I vacuumed up the bolt that holds his food bowl to the cage…I did check the vacuum bag but couldn’t find it LOL.  So I have a zip tie holding the food bowl in place.  However, I am cheap and remove the pellet bowl in the pm, so I can’t permanantly attach it. So I have pulled together, but not fastened.  Well Leo loves throwing his food bowl, thus my purchase of the attaching food bowl.  As I was preparing the bunny salads I heard a ruckus and found him pulling on the food bowl until he got the zip tie completely undone.  W/ that he threw the remaining kernals all around the cage.  What a naughty naughty boy!!!!

Amazing! I need a scissor to undo zip ties. Now that he knows he can do it, you will have to super glue your dish down. This will be his new thing.

                  Gotta love them.

Hahahha, I love seeing bunnies just toss things out of their way. My bunnies often do it with their food dish too which I can’t understand because they LOVE their pellets – but fling half of them out of their cage! Maybe you could consider one of those heavy ceramic bowls – though, he may try to toss that too (actually, being as he is smart enough to undo a zip tie, perhaps he’ll rig some kind of pulley system to fling the ceramic bowl!)

Bunny salad is served in a pyrex loaf pan.  Though heavy & difficult he still finds a way to knock that over in the cage.  Sometimes he has to nudge and pull w/ his teeth to get it off the food shelf, but he does it.  He’s a real stinker!  He did the same w/ the ceramic bowls, that’s why I had to get the bowl that screws onto the cage.  He’s a very entertaining lil’ beast!

Tonight I was at the vet w/ Phoebe the diabetic cat.  My hubby called to ask if I took Leo b/c he was "missing" from the cage.  No sooner had he said Leo then Leo "appeared" in the middle of the living room.

My bunny, binky is seriosly naughty, he is about 7 months old and whenever I let him out of he hutch (i had to bin his cage because he split it in half……) he heads straight for the living room and wee’s in a certain corner of the couch, luckily it is leather so I can clean it. I also have a pair of PJ’s that I wear and as soon as he see’s them he will come straight at them and attack! lol. ^__^

hi Eriin x – welcome to Binky Bunny!!

Is your bunny neutered yet? It’s likely contributing to his territorial behavior. You might also consider making the couch a bunny free zone until he spots weeing on it!

You know the real problem is that bunnies are waaay too cute!  I often think, how can you be so naughty you are adorable!  I guess that’s why people don’t understand that bunnies can be so destructive.  Erin, hope we can help w/ your little guy…he’s so cute!

Eriin… have you checked out the littertraining section on here?

if not, go to bunny info at the top > litterbox training

it sounds like since he is neutered, you may need to start over with littertraining.  try reducing his area until he is using the litterbox, and then expand, making sure to give him multiple litterboxes if necessary.  you might even try putting a box in that corner of the couch when he’s out.  let us know how he does and if you have more questions.
