well, this is off-topic, i hope you don’t mind…

my son Michael is turning 5 in July.  he lost his first tooth yesterday, so the Tooth Fairy paid a visit to the house…  is it normal to cry over a lost tooth (me crying, not him!)

AND… he had his pre-school graduation today.  let’s just say it’s been an emotional 24 hours.

i just have a hard time realizing he is turning 5.  when he turns 18, i will have to lock myself in the house for months until i recover.

oh well.  a few pics of graduation…

For the last 2 days my laptop will not let me sign in, but the computer in the office will—I have been keeping up and reading, therefore, but not responding. I had to get my lazy butt up into the office to respond to this one!

and it’s funny, b/c i’ve never been to a pre-school graduation, but the kids are in no order at all. they try and have them go in order, but since they’re 4 and 5 they kind of wander everywhere. it was an experience. plus they all sang two songs, one of which was “You Are My Sunshine”. too cute for words.

Oh what a cutie!  Enjoy these days because they go by in the blink of an eye!  I can’t believe I have a 16 and 20 yr old.!! It’s so awful when the first one leaves for college.  I cried buckets.  Now I’m totally fine but it will be weird when my second leaves.  Just me and the husband…eeeeks.

Awwwwwwwwww, I love that song! You are my sunshine… Tell him to call AuntieNella (and that would be me) to sing that song to her! I am getting goosebumps just thinking of that song! When I came to America and heard that song for the very first time, I would hum that song constantly! I didn’t know the words to it.

We went to DisneyLand the other day… Talking about time flying by and us getting old… We felt so old whenever teenagers were around us! *Shudder* At least you have a son you watch grow up!

my husband has brown eyes, i have hazel eyes, so the blue actually comes form everyone else in my family. my eyes were blue when i was very little but they changed, i thought his were going to, but they didn’t (YAY!!!)

liza, I think there is a pre-school graduation, then a middle school graduation (thought not all schools do that) and then High School grad, and lastly College graduation. I think that’s it, unless I a forgetting something.
