So, I suck with movie editing and have no sort of program for it, so I wanted to know if someone would make me a video?

It is very basic. Here’s the storyboard:

First frame – words saying “These are my bunnies”

Fade to this video, http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ujE2chRuZoE Timestamps 0:50-0:57

‘Hard fade’ to next frame saying “These are my bunnies after bonding at Save A Bunny”

        Fade to the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SJ5n1N9cctI timestamps 0:03 – 0:14

Hard Fade to “Any Questions?”  Fade in under this http://www.saveabunny.com

What a great promotion for SaveABunny too. I have alot of projects on my plate right now, but it seems pretty basic though. This is something that I bet Marcy would want to put on her website, sooo I donate 4-5 hours per week working on her projects, and I could ask her if she would wants this on her site, and that way if she wants to put that first on my plate, then I can edit it this Wednesday. (I’ll email her and let you know) Otherwise, I could get to it in a couple of weeks. (unless someone else edits it for you before then)

both XP and Vista come with “Windows Movie Maker” which should enable you to do something simple like that.

I’ve been in contact with Marcy as SAB. . She loved the idea and we are working who could do it. Maybe me if this other another person can’t do it. I’ll keep you updated.

                  Markusdark,
I have Windows Movie Maker and it is pretty easy to use. I just found it a few months ago, and was able to create 2 videos and upload them, so if you have it I would suggest giving it a try.

I just clicked your YouTube videos, and went into YouTube HELP to ask if I could download them to my own computer to try to do this for you. YouTube has a policy of not allowing downloads of others’ videos, so can’t do that for you.

Go into Start, view All Programs menu and see if you have “Windows Movie Maker.” I bet you do. The easiest way actually would be to open it, drag your existing videos that you already created and uploaded to YouTube, and then insert some “enhancements”, ie a title page, a transition screen, and a closing screen. I am sure that in the program there’s a selection for adding titles and closing credits. That’s where you can insert your test. What isn’t obvious is explained step by step in Help once you’ve opened the program.

If you do this without too much struggle (yes, it can be really frustrating when you haven’t done it) then you already know how to upload it to YouTube. You can save the whole thing and upload that.

Make any sense? I’m not experienced, so I don’t know how I would get your videos (I have dial up so it’s very, very slow to DL anything) and then get them back to you in a movie program. Uploading from my computer also seems limited, as I tried to put a video on YouTube and it wouldn’t accept it with music, only without. Had to do with the size and dial up I think.   It actually would be less work to try to create it yourself since you can just drag your main videos right from the source.

while there are ways for downloading youtube videos to save to your computer they are going to be in FLV or flash format which isnt supported by Windows Movie Maker.  Also the quality on the end result would be less becuase they are highly compressed.  that old adage “garbage in, garbage out”.

Yup. I was surprised how easy it was.

great job! I was just asking Marcy if she wanted me to work on it tomorrow and poof, it’s done already. That’s awesome!  If you want to add some music or anything like chaotic stuffin the beginning and peaceful music for the “after”, go to soundsnap.com   It’s a free resource full of music, sfx etc., not only for the pros, but for stuff like this too.  100% free downloads, and i have received zero spam from them.  It’s a collaboration community.

Is this movie maker free or do you have to pay for it?

                                YEA MARKUSDARK!!!!!!!!!

That is EXCELLENT! I would see that and go straight to Save A Bunny! (Can you now persuade them to open a site down here in Florida?)

I’m so glad you tried the MovieMaker. It’s not the best program for quality, I know, but it gets you from here to there in a hurry.

BinkyBunny, I am doing BINKIES from your suggestion about soundsnap.com. I have needed a source for sound that has copyright permission, and will try that. Thanks for the advice.

Movie Maker is free and included with every copy of XP and Vista, it is in the root folder of “Programs” in the start menu
