My rabbit parsley nibbled on a pokeberry leaf! What should I do?

This plant is poisonous to most animals. Birds are immune and will feed on the berries. That being said, it is also unpalatable (meaning it doesn’t taste good). So an animal may nibble on it and then decide it isn’t a good idea to eat it. If your bunny just nibbled, then he/she probably decided it wasn’t something to eat as well. I imagine a nibble probably won’t cause any harm.

Symptoms of poisoning typically show up within hours. So if you don’t see any symptoms develop soon, then your bunny is most likely fine.
