Hi guys, Iv’e come here because of some urine problems with my rabbit.

First I would just like to say, Ivory uses her littler box, Yes there may be some poops here and there but she knows where the urine goes; in the litter box. It first started as she peed once out of the litter box I thought “Well no big deal” but lately Iv’e been noticing a lot of pee outside the litter box, but not in puddles; it’s like she’s tracking it! It’s like she’s spraying it inside her litter box and it gets all over the sides of it. Tonight I noticed that she had urine on her bottom and back feet. I washed it all off but I’m really nervous! I know a lot of times your rabbit has trouble peeing is when there’s a problem with squatting and the back legs, but this doesn’t seem to be the case.

It’s all over the floor sometimes more in on place and a couple drops in another. She seems fine, eating, drinking and acting normally. She ate a very small nibble of chocolate recently but it wasn’t a big deal.

WHAT DO I DO?! Is she okay? Does she need a vet?

        A very worried rabbit owner

Dribbling pee around sounds like either marking or a urinary infection.

          Is she spayed?

What kind of bedding is in her box?

Hi! She’s not spayed at the moment but is going to be in April. Yesterday I noticed that she had some how flipped the puppy pad over to the other side (the plasticy one) so that could be part of the problem.
She’s using Carefresh as of now.

If she is otherwise acting normal, it sounds like it is marking due to her not being spayed. Until her spay in April, you can try to keep her cage floor extra clean so that as little urine as possible gets on her feet/fur.
