Well my worst fear someone in the house has mites. I believe these are transferrable to rabbits too.  I don’t have them that I know of but I am going to the Dr. just in case i contracted them and don’t itch yet.  Hubby has them.

How do I keep bmy buns from betting them? I don’t have carpet but they may be on the couch and bed from the crazy itching person.  All that itching and he can’t sleep. His Dr. isn’t in til Friday.

i don’t know anything about mites except that they require treatment in buns. i believe one of the flea meds is affective on mites, but it will require a vet’s direction. i don’t know if there are different kinds that affect humans and animals together…

i’m sure someone with experience with this will be along soon!

          keep us posted…

The only things I know that are safe for rabbits for mites are Revolution and Ivermectin and both require a prescription from a vet.

What a relief.  The person the visitor has a bad rash from a detergent.  The person went to the Dr. Phew. That was a close call.

My 3 big fears are  pink eye  mites and lice.

I had pink eye as a child and rubbed my eyes so bad I was nearly blind. It was bad. Light hurt my eyes I had to have dark sunglasses.  So because of that horrible experience I fear pink eye.  When my eyes get itchy I get panicky.  Then find out it is allergies. Same with mites.   Don’t remember having head lice tho.  Maybe I did. well at least I dont’ remember it if  did.
