Wow, I sure hope Cookie sees this post! (maybe I’ll email her to come take a look) I bet she could offer some great advice because she was in a similar situation with her own father not wanting her bunny to be spayed. Like MooBunnay said, cancer is high in unspayed females. Spaying will also help take care of many of these behaviorial issues. Still a bit confused about why your dad doesn’t want her spayed – does he want more bunnies? I mean how does having her spayed relate to all the other bunnies?
The other thing you said was that no one would take care of her if she was in the house – so are you saying someone will take care of her if she’s out of the house? Sorry, I just need to clarify so I can answer properly.
ALso, this next part may be private, but if not, will you be living in a place that can accept animals? If so, are you just worried about the finances of taking care of her? If this part you really can’t reveal, that’s okay, it’s just that if you can, then maybe we can help figure out a way to take her with. But either way, Spaying is the way to go!
