Hello! i got my bunny Fria a little under a month ago and she adjusted well to her new environment. a few days after i got her i started using a blanket to cover ONLY the front of her cage (so she doesn’t see me walk around) at night. right after she started exclusively peeing on that blanket. At first she would also pee in her cage but eventually she’s starting to hold it in until i let her out of her cage (i leave the blanket on the floor). I’m concerned that she’s going to hurt herself. What should i do 🙁

Could you perhaps make a little penned area for her, connected to the cage so as to extend her living quarters? Some buns don’t want to pee too close to their “home”, probably so as not to attract predators into the “burrow”. (This is an instinct, not sth she does by her own conscious choice. )
