I really didn’t know that mites can stay on people for long. I know that if you have a rabbit that have mites, you may get a minor irritation, but that humans don’t really host mites the same way.  But, geesh, I also don’t know much about the whole mites on humans.  You may have an allergic reaction to them.  But where would you have gotten them? Do your bunnies have mites?  Have you been around any other animals?

This is just what I found from a quick google search:

          http://www.ces.ncsu.edu/depts/ent/notes/Urban/mites.htm#relief

Talks about how to get relief from mites, and according to this benadryl is to help stop the itching, but it may not rid you of them.
