Bean has some red spots in his ear that have been there for a couple weeks, the vet thought originally that they were from his nails as I had just cut them but they’re still there! This morning his hair seemed to be thinning on this ear, but hes never had much hair on his ears to begin with.  He is starting to lose some baby fur and grow some more in so it could be related tot hat.  I’ve attached some pictures, his ears have not changed for weeks, I don’t want him to be in pain!  Luckily, he is still his same happy, outgoing self.

They don’t look too bad. Could easily be from scratching them while grooming himself. Earmite usually starts down deeper in the ear and looks like reddish brown colour. Are you seeing any of that?

You could always ask the vet for some Revolution anyway, especially if your bun goes outside on occasion. It’s rabbit safe and treats fur & ear mite, fleas and ticks. It can act as a bit of a preventative also.

Thanks for the fast reply! It really just the red spots but no brown or flakes. He does go outside to play sometimes so I will ask the vet for that when I take him to be neutered next week! Thanks for your help!
