Hi I’m new and we have 2 bunnies Nola and thumper. Well we have had thumper over a year well of a sudden an hour ago she started thumping like crazy in her cage non stop very loudy. She has never thumped like this before. She only thumps once if someone tries to chase or pick her up. Any help is appreciated.

Maybe she heard something outside. Or smelt something. Was there a bonfire or anything going on?

Yep, something you couldn’t detect was ‘bothering’ her. Maybe a computer game or bip bip biiip somewhere, that’s what sets mine off.
And if someone walks past the house at 3am, he wakes me up too…..

Its just your bunnies way of warning everyone else, that there is “danger”! (LOL)

Smoke can be a thing… My buns went thump crazy for an hour once – apartment above mine had something in their oven burning. Their door and windows were all open when I went investigating a fire alarm; they had fallen asleep and it had been burning for awhile…..
