HELP bunny is moving!

I joined this for the soul purpose of getting help for my bunny. Booney is a 5 year old Netherlands dwarf and i have had him since he was 5 weeks old. He has always been kept indoor and free range, completely cageless. But due to me moving out and landlord restrictions I cannot take him with me, I plead with my mother to take him but she’s deathly allergic. Luckily, I found a wonderful girl to take him who will keep him inside and later on, I may actually be able to have him back. I have made him a huge custom built hutch just in case he can’t always be free roam in his new home, but my main problem is how to make this move stress free for him? I don’t worry about his temperament, he’s extremely loving and laid back, but my house is all he had ever known.

I’m so sorry you have to leave your bunny. So great that you’ve found a good person to take him.
The hutch you’ve made will have your scent on it and you could provide him with a few cheap fleece blankies/pieces of fleece blankies that you’ve slept on or something so they have your scent. The scent will of course fade but he’ll need it less and less as he settles in in his new home.
Also make sure he’ll be getting the same brand of food as he’s used to. That’s really important, that all dietary changes are made very slowly.
