So we have 2 boys that are about 3 weeks apart in age. Skittles is almost 3 months and Copper is about 9 weeks. They have been together for about 2 weeks and are starting to mount. Both do it though I think Skittles is more submissive. We are going to neuter both at 4-5 months if we can. Can they be safe and happy together until then or do I need to separate. Also, after neutering are they okay together or do I need to separate for a few weeks?

It would be best to separate them since you are starting to see mounting, but they can live side by side as neighbors. 🙂 Their hormones are starting to kick in and that often causes fighting.

Once they are neutered it will take a couple weeks for their hormones to settle, then you can start the bonding process.

Do also confirm their sexes, it’s pretty common for young bunnies to be mis-sexed!
