Hi everyone, I’m seeking advice/information about purchasing products online for my bunnies. I’m trying to buy a cottontail cottage for my babies but apparently the Binkybunny store doesn’t ship to Alberta,Canada. I have to admit I was disappointed with this because I noticed the site said they now ship to Canada *sad face*  I’d really like to buy my buns a cottage so if anyone knows of anywhere that does ship to Canada that would be fantastic.

Actually they do ship there now!! I’ll let BB know you’re having difficulty ordering and she can help you out! You do have to create a seperate login for the store when you live in Canada, but they do ship here now!!

you can also email bb.  Scroll down to the bottom of the home page and go to contact.   They will have categories to select from.  If that happens again.

However someone is going to get back to you since the prev post said they would contact bb  at this time.   Yeah those cottages are cool.  Buns just love them.

Thanks K&k and Bunnytowne. I created a separate login for the store, but had no luck. It would be awesome if you could let BB know about this ’cause I’d rather buy the cottage through BinkyBunny than some other site. I emailled BB also but I know they must get alot of emails.

My buns love their cottage- but so do the cats too!  If they can get to it- they are in it.  At first I was worried about this causing territory marking issues by the bunnies- but they are OK with it as long as the cats are not in it with them.  And now that I have had the cottage for awhile- the cats are bored wth it- but the bunnies are not.

Hi 2buns2luv – I’m so sorry, but we actually JUST stopped selling to Canada. You can go through BusyBunny.com though.

We’ve been having costly “learning” problems with shipping to Canada. So we finally had to stop. We may be able to start back up again once we get big enough to hire someone who can handle dealing with International Orders. So far, when we ship via Fedex, we find the majority of customers do not pay for the taxes and duties and in the end we get charged back for it a month later or more. This is expensive for us as we are not a huge company that can incur those costs. We don’t charge extra for shipping,(we charge only what it costs us) Plus between the brokerage fees, handling fees, THEN the taxes and duties, it’s more complicated than we can deal with right now

We do find that if shipped via USPS, they will take on getting the duties and taxes and never charge back, but we are still a mom and pop type company and don’t have resources/time to process via USPS and make special trips to the P.O.

Hey 2buns – if it doesn’t work out for you, I’ll get one shipped here then forward it to Canada for you! It’s the least I can do for another bunny-lover.

Thanks for the reply Binky. Wow I didn’t have any idea that people would not pay the taxes on items, spoils it for the rest of us huh, but I understand why you had to stop shipping to Canada. I might check out busybunny in a moment r perhaps my “kids” just might have to wait for their cottage hehe, they seem quite content to play with their upside down laundry hamper for now when Clyde allows them access. He’s quite the territorial little man, but who wouldnt be when you have to share your house with 3 females hahaha.

That would be awesome also Diqxmexnow, will keep u all posted on how things go.

Clyde,Bunny,Luna and Shadow all thank you for helping them *big fluffy bunny high five*
