I just bought a new rabbit, an angora mixed with a Californian, and I’ve had her for about two weeks. She was fairly around Jupiter’s age, which is why I bought her. Her and Jupiter have bonded, and it was fairly easy. I went outside earlier this week to find that she was pulling her fur off of her stomach, eating more, and would constantly get angry when Jupiter would start to get near her. For a little tip, as I have mentioned before, I don’t believe in breeding rabbits. I took her to the vet just yesterday to get a check-up before she went under surgery to get spayed, as of which the vet informed me that she is, in fact, pregnant. Jupiter is neutered, so I figured that he couldn’t be the father, also they have been together for not that much time. Since then, I have moved her into my room and she now lives there with me, and is quite angry she can’t leave. I have towels and beds laid all around my room and currently have her in her cage, as she keeps trying to chew on the door. Her name is Mars, and while I thought I wouldn’t need to conduct help again, (Not that I don’t love y’all, I just was hoping it would never happen again) I don’t know what to do. Also, I contacted the lady I got her from (She was a flea market rabbit) and she said that she was being “Paired” with a two year old male angora, and that she would not be taking refunds. I don’t know if this is the right topic because “Technically” It’s breeding, I didn’t know that she was pregnant.
