What type of paint is it? Water soluble? Latex?

Watch him carefully to make sure he continues to eat and poop. If he stops doing either, I would take him to the vet. If he continues to eat and poop for the next 24 hours, he’ll be ok.

That doesn’t sound good. He ate the whole tube? I would call your local emergency vet and let them know what happened and ask them as I am sure they have seen their fair share of all the crazy things that animals have digested.

Here is important information from a previous post with an emergency:

Call the ASPCA Animal Poison Control Center

The telephone number is (888) 426-4435. There is a $55 consultation fee for this service.

Be ready with the following information:
                    – the species, breed, age, sex, weight and number of animals involved
                    – the animal’s symptoms
                    – information regarding the exposure, including the agent (if known), the amount of the agent involved and the time elapsed since the time of exposure.

Have the product container/packaging available for reference.

REMEMBER: Bunnies cannot vomit like a cat or dog to get the poison out so it is really, really important to consult a vet ASAP as they have treatments available. Most likely fluids will be administered, depending on what the properties are of the ingested product to flush their system.

Here is another # I do not know if they charge a fee:

                    National Animal Poison Control
                    Center 1-800-548-2423

I would still call the emergency vet today and see what they say, and possibly take your bunny in. How much was consumed? Let them know.
