        Hi Everyone-

Just googled and found this place tonight.  I rescued a rabbit from a home where she was getting neglected. She never came

out of her cage and got the attention she needs.  I was told she is about 2-3 years old and spayed.  I have a vet apt. this

Saturday to get her checked out and make sure everything is ok.  I think she is over weight from lack of being let out of

her cage so I’m hoping that gets better with time.  I’m not a new rabbit owner, this is my second one I have owned in my life time.

I still feel like I don’t know much about them though so hoping to find lots of help here and I already have a list of questions to ask when we go to the vets.  If I can figure out how to post pictures I will get one up.  She’s a big girl that I have already nicknamed Moosie girl.  lol

Her name is Lola. Thats the name she came with and I wanted to change it to Noelle since I got her during the holiday but I had already told my son her name so trying to explain to a 2 year old that we’re going to change her name now wasn’t going to happen.  So Lola it is.

Oh and I’m Dawn, have a hubby Bob, son Connor, 2 labs Lilo and Bella, and our new addition Lo

            Hi Lolagirl and Welcome!

glad to hear how you rescued your girl, sounds like she’ll have a great home.

I’m a “Lola girl” too, here’s a pic of her (she’s the white rex and a bit overweight too, her eyes are bright blue), can’t wait to see pics of your Lola,

            Kathy

kralspace is your Lola bunny the one where her mate tries to lick off her brown spots?  That is so funny.  I remember someone posting about that not sure who it was though.

And Hi welcome you and Lola      Your moose.  Awe we love pictures. Can’t wait to see some.  Once you get the hang of how to post pics we would love to see lots.

Any questions feel free to ask away.  We have experience and enjoy talking about our buns.  We also have many new people here too. It is nice to have new people and new bunnies to look at.

I am sure you will enjoy it here sharing stories of all our buns antics with each other here.

This is definitely the place for bunnaholics.  Lol. Next thing you know you will be a bunny slave like us.

There is also a support section for those who have lost their precious buns. If you would like to share a memorial to her in that section.  I am glad you have opened your home to another bunny.  I am sure she will love it there with your family and you.

Welcome! I had/have two chubsters, they came from shelters and were probably on the chubby side from not getting enough exercise. They’re still ‘fluffy’ but dropped weight from hay and exercise so they do come around

Hi BT, yes, Lola’s light tan spots make my OCD Daisy crazy, there’s one right by her eye that slowed down their bonding process, his trying to ‘clean’ it caused her to rightfully retaliate by kicking him across the condo! He still works on them every night poor guy.

that is just the funniest thing I ever heard kralspace.  That Daisy.

I notice when my 2 groom the others eyes that their eyes turn red. Since seperation they aren’t red no more. I think they overgroomed each other too.  Perhaps.
