Tansy and Bono are harlequin Mini Lop crosses. They are now 4 1/2 months old. Hoping to get Bono castrated around the middle of Jan when he will be 5 months old, and then get Tansy spayed a couple of weeks later. They have pretty good litter box habits – some marbles in their enclosures, but not too many. 99.9% of urine is in the boxes. Neither of them has ever left a puddle or a marble outside of their cages – which has impressed me.
Didn’t take the wallpaper tearing warnings seriously enough
so do have some bare patches but luckily only in the corners! Once Tansy is spayed and we have put them back together and can disassemble her pen, I will have enough wire panels to line the walls of the lounge and dining room and they can be more free range in there.
Tansy may be the stubbornest animal I have ever owned, which makes me laugh since she is a small, soft, rabbit
So in love with our buns! Conversations at our house go something like this;
Teenager: “Mum, did you put the jingly ball into the cardboard tube in Bono’s pen?”
Me: “No.”
Teenager: “He’s making tools! He’s evolving.”
Thanks so much for all the awesome info on this site! It’s been invaluable.
