Just wanted to say hi to all!  I’ve been delinquent, dealing with all of my chaos, but I’m going to try to catch up a bit!

Lizzy, Robbie, and Thumper are all doing fine.  It’d be nice if 2 of them could live together, but I’ll take them healthy, and safely-separated for now!  Thumper comes up with BF to visit on weekends, now that Flower’s passed on.  So I have a weekend bedroom-bunny, too!

MM, Robbie mostly ignores Lizzy, as she skulks outside his pen snitching his hay (she has plenty of her own hay, but she’d rather antagonize him, the brat!). Occassionally she’ll push her luck, and he’ll nip at her. He’s still sneaky-mean, and I’m afraid to try to re-bond them. Actually, Lizzy (the little bun-slut!), will groom Thumper if he happens past her pen. (Which is shocking, because when they first met, months ago, she flung herself at her cage walls like a FURY trying to kill him!) Then she asks him for a groom, and he looks at her quizzically. It’s like he has no idea what this silly female is on about! And then she gets mad at him and gives him the bunny-butt. So now BF and I are trying to work out the logistics of his moving up here, and if he does, maybe we’ll bond Lizzy and Thumper and let Robbie be a grumpy old bachelor…

K&K, all of my buns have 3 names…it’s pretty ridiculous… Princess Lizzy-Priss, Sir Thumps-A-Lot, and Mr Robert T(he) Rabbit are the latest. Robbie is a little grumpy that he doesn’t get a fancy medieval-royalty name, but he’s more of a hobbit than a knight, even if he’s the biggest of the 3…

poor Lizzy. it sounds like she really misses the companionship… i hope you can decide something in regards to bonding. it’s tough to start over… but i think you might have to just take the plunge, or seek professional bunny bonding help?

Beka, Thumper hasn’t been neutered yet. He goes in for all of his pre-neuter bloodwork and whatnot in a couple weeks. BF and I are actually really afraid of getting him neutered, since he’s such a darling now… We’re really afraid it’ll change his personality. But there’s no way to bond him to Lizzy unless we do…

But we can’t bond the two of them until BF finds a job up here. And I’ve sort-of given up on trying to re-bond Lizzy and Robbie because he’s mean, and bonding Lizzy and Thumper would be so much easier…

It’s all on hold, anyway, until we figure out what BF is going to do. (He also wants to go to paramedic school, so we’re trying to figure out how he can go to school, and keep working, and whether that would be easier where he’s at in San Diego, or moved in with me up here…it’s all very complicated…) We can’t force the buns to make a commitment until their humans sort themselves out!

Oh lightchick I feel ya. My boyf is 6 hours away in Canada… It’s all so very complicated!!

Robbie is very SmeagalGollum–you’re so on the right track!

And Thumper has big feet, and big ears…(and small you-know-whats! We had to take him to the vet to confirm gender, so that old addage doesn’t work on bunnies….)
