So I’ve found a game that Chunk likes to play with me. I toss something small to him, and he goes nuts about it, licks it, sniffs it, and, if it’s a treat, eats it. Then he romps around waiting for the next one. I like tossing him things he can munch on, but I can only give him so many raisins/dried cranberries because of the sugar.

I was wondering what I could play toss with that was small, edible and tossable but that I could give him more than two or three of.

Please let me know if you’ve got any ideas.

I do it with individual pelleted food. Frankie eats it all the time, but never seems to fail to get excited about eating even one or two!

My Remy is bananas over broccoli stalks. You could take one and cut it into little pieces. They would be small enough that he could eat a bunch, but firm enough that you could throw them!

            Hope that helps

Mr. Bunny really likes oats. As long as he notices when you throw one, maybe your bunny will like those?

Or you could use pellets, or his favorite veggie?

Raisins, craisins, small berries or herbs are great treats!

Jack loves bananas and raisins too but since they are high in sugar, I cut them up into tiny little pieces so that I can offer less, but it seems like more.

Yep, broccoli stems or romaine lettuce cores cut into cubes would be something you could try.

I like to buy the “Just Fruit” dried fruit which is in small pieces if you get the mixed fruit blends. They make a nice little treat for them.
