  I just talked to my mom… this morning, Kate, our 12 year old Shetland Sheepdog who is going deaf and blind, was out in the garage with my dad and dad was backing the car out and heard a bump and a yelp. He jumped out of the car and Kate’s mouth was bleeding and she was crying. He rushed her to the vet and they said she had no broken bones or anything but to watch her very carefully.
  
  Mom said her mouth is super sore and she’s missing fur on her head
  
  She’s old… I would hate to lose her just a few months after losing Sandy

  I just called home and yes, she is doing better! Yayyyy!!!!
  They said she’s using her mouth more normally now, eating and drinking and acting “normal” so my brother put it.
  So, I am hopeful she makes a recovery!
  Thank you all for your thoughts and vibes, I’m sure they helped Katie!

  From what mom has told me, Kate’s pretty much back to normal, except she does show a lot of sensitivity to her mouth
