Head tilting upwards?

  i attached a video of my bunny above, eating hay. He has ear mites and i was wondering if this could be a head tilt resulting from an ear infection? His head is not tilting to one side, but is instead almost making it look like he’s just looking up. It has only happened 4 times during the day. If it is head tilt, what can I do to help him??

  Does he always look up? Because in the video, it just looks like normal eating hay behavior. Sometimes the strands of hay are long/tangled and rabbits will give a tug with their head while trying to eat it.
  
  The little shake he does at the beginning of the video does make it look like his ear is bothering him. Like it itches. This would be consistent with ear mites.

  @LBJ10 hi! Yes he does usually tug at long strands of hay, but has never lifted his head so high before, which is why I’m not really sure if it’s normal.
  
  he tends to scratch is head and cheeks quite abit so that’s why I’m thinking the ear mites may have developed into an ear infection. He is in the middle of his treatment for ear mites though, so I’m hoping the scratching will decrease by the next few weeks?

  Near the end it’s a little odd that he periscopes, but that could be from noise, sensing you watching him, or something else. Upward tilt while eating can be from a bent piece of hay and your rabbit is adjusting its head to get a good chew grip on it. My Wick does this often.
  
  Essentially there are other things that could cause this that arent worrisome.
