  Lastnight when i took the shirt i was wearing off i put it on the floor next to Moreland. I then began to pet him with it and snuggle him up to it. He tolorated it. then i got up and sat on the couch. He went to it and jumped over it a few times back and forth then batted at it with his paws. Then drum rolllllllllllllllll he starts grooming it.
  
  I swore he hated me because he always runs then comes up and makes me groom him if i dont i get bit. he has never showed affection ie: grooming towards me so lastnight made me think all my love for him is paying off. were breaking ground!!!
  
  Although he will hate me tonight becuase im taking him to the vet to get his nails trimmed and have her show me how to flip him over and get his booty glands cleaned!!!! eww!

  Bunnies do show affection by grooming the couch the pillow the clothes and such. None of mine groom me. Only once in a blue moon will that happen. I can count on 1 hand how many times I have been groomed by a bun. So I wouldn’t worry too much about that.

  LOL be prepared for the bunny butt for a couple days (depending on how offended by the trip he is! LOL) That’s so sweet he groomed your shirt!!

  aww congrats! my first bun LOVED to groom me and be groomed. He was super affectionate. This one is not. He tolerates petting, and really enjoys it once in a while. I do know he’s comfortable around me; he’s even more aloof to other people, and when I let him out of the cage he stays near me, playing, jumping etc.
  
  Congrats again – I can’t wait to read your next thread “He Loves me A LOT!” Hopefully I’ll be able to post that too as soon as he’s more acclimated towards me
  
  eta: I just saw a pic of Moreland in another thread, o my, he’s a cutie! So gorgeous!
