My male bun Cinnabon is humping lola and he is neutered, she is spayed.  Is this normal?

Often mounting is a dominance behavior – it could be that Cinnabon is trying to assert his dominance on Lola. Have they been bonded very long?

            DITTO!

IF they have been bonded long and he just tries to mount her sometimes or once a day, then that sounds like my bonded neutered/spayed pair.  Jack and Rucy.   He serenades her with a love honk and tries to impress her with binkies.  Sometimes it works, and sometimes it doesn’t (has a headache)

              LOL Binky! …headache hehe

I wouldn’t worry too much with humping if they aren’t fighting!

Sometimes too they can hump when excited (getting food). I have a pair that is 2 females and on occasion the one will mount the other when she gets excited – she hasn’t done it in a good while though.

I also had a friend who had a bonded pair and when she would have to move them (vet, clean, etc.) the male would mount the female but other than that he never mounted her.

I busted Kahlua making love to Kokanee a few weeks ago ( THAT episode started a whole, uh oh is kahlua a boy maybe? female phew!!!) hehe I haven’t seen her up to that again…Kokanee sometimes mounts Kahlua, you can see when it’s about to happen (usually when Kokanee gets on, she forgets what she was doing and gets off …Kahlua goes by and you can see Kokanee thinking “oooohhh you look very hot today kahlua, come back here…” it’s pretty rare and they never fight so I don’t worry!

Well, they run around, I guess they like it rough but they have only been bonded for about five months. Lola just lets him do his stuff until he keeps on insisting. Its been going on a lot lately though!

Hahaha – poor lola My male bun does this any time he can see any of the other male buns. It really is quite the epitomy of male showing off – he humps his girlfriend in front of the other boys and says “look what I CAN DO!”
