        Hi all!

I am looking for a new solution for my hay storage as our current tuberware is just LARGE and my place is very much not large right now. So right now his hay is stored with his pellet bag and bedding bag in a super large green and clear tuberware. I love that its clear because I can keep an eye on how much hay we have, but its too big for my space right now. 😐 I think I’m going to downsize to a smaller tuberware, but I would love to hear about everyone’s hay storage. How do you store your bun’s hay?

Additionally while I’m here, what is your favorite way to enrich your bunnies day to day? Most of his enrichment right now is food based because the way to his heart is most definitely through his stomach. 😆 But I’d love more ideas to keep him entertained.

And lastly, heres some pictures! King Peach the very impatient. 😆

Random q: Is that piping used to support/floor the C&C cage? I’d love to see how you navigated that.

I get my hay delivered, so I actually just keep the hay in the box it comes it and take it out each day when I clean the litterboxes. It comes very compressed, so it is as small as I think I could get it without lessening the quantity of hay. Something that could be helpful is if you have a container with wheels, then maybe you can store it in a way that you can roll it under a piece of furniture whenever you aren’t using it?

I use a hay box as a hay feeder as well, so depending on how often you get your hay, perhaps you can have a larger hay feeder that acts both as storage and a feeding station.

In terms of enrichment, I move around my rabbit’s hidey houses and change up how I present their pellets each morning!

My boy is very food motivated as well.. I also switch up how I give his pellets. I use baby stacking cups, snuffle mats, this one interactive toy where he has to lift the lids on the board for the pellets, and I made a treat dispenser (from this forum actually) by wrapping a toilet roll with a piece of paper, twisting the ends so it’s like a tootsie roll, and cutting a hole in the center for pellets.

I also get forage mixes, a variety of sticks (willow, apple, pear) and balls, different hay cuts and types. Tunnels and cardboard boxes are his fav. I haven’t bought from the BinkyBunny store yet but I plan to soon 🙂

Those stacking cups are the best! I don’t use them all the time so it stays novel but when the bunnies hear them, they start zooming! There are also small animal enrichment toys where you out the pellets in and they have to figure out how to get them out and that’s fun too. Basically any game you can make of feeding time is probably going to be a hit because they’re so smart and inquisitive and hungry 🙂
