Hay rack ideas?

Recently, (by that, I mean mid January) Toby was moved into a x-pen and now has a bigger litter box. Since she uses all corners of it, I find it hard to get a cleaner space to put the hay. Her previous hay rack was just a thick-wired bird feeder that I got at the dollar store. Plus, when I clean out her litter box, scraping all the wet hay dust from the bottom is quite annoying, as the pee pads i have on the bottom aren’t big enough and get dug up. 

So I was thinking to make a bigger hay rack to suit her new cage. One of my ideas was to cut a hole in the lid of a plastic bin, burn the edges, then prop it up.

Does anyone else have some cheaper ideas? My money is limited, as I’m saving for her to get fixed. Also, her litter box has a rim around it.

I use a rack that is meant to hold toilet paper rolls, clipped to the side of their condo near their box. I think I got it for about $5 at Ross.

I don’t know if you have an Ikea near you, but I’ve recently started using a plastic Ikea thing meant for holding plastic bags. I can’t remember how much it cost, but definitely under £5. I’ve tried many different types, and this is the best so far. Like this:

Hello Lupa!

I was going to suggest building your own with wood and some tools (which costs around $20), because you can build them custom to any corner of your rabbit’s cage or room; then I saw you are on a budget, so I’ve thought of some other ideas.
A personal favorite for budget is an Under-The-Shelf Wire Basket. They aren’t the hugest of some hay racks out there, but as for how often you have to refill, I’d say they’re average. Lasts about 2 days until having to refill again. ($6-$12)
You can bend some wire storage grids and clip them onto the wall of the pen and fill it through the sides. I’d say put two next to each other because personally I feel just 1 would be too small and you’d have to refill very often. (FREE if you have grids; price varies if you buy a whole pack of grids)
Going super low-budget on this one; you can just cut some holes in a cardboard box. The rabbit will eventually destroy it, though. I have never done this, but it seems like it’d last a few weeks until you have to make another one (plus it makes for an extra thing to chew!) FREE
Drill a hole in a small plastic bin, that works super well I’ve heard, too. It seems pretty easy… (I honestly don’t know how much a bin would be..I feel like you’d find it around your house?)

This is a hay feeder on amazon. I have one of these and it works very well, I just check it twice a day to make sure they have enough. I am also on a budget so i liked this since its $5
