My local feed store does not have Timothy hay, but they have a forage hay that is Oat Wheat and Barley.  Do you think its ok to substitute Timothy for forage permanatly providing they have their normal diet of pellets and veggies stays the same?  My boyfriend has allergies to hay and Timothy aggravates them the most.  The bunnies love the forage hay and plus its $10.50 for a bale which is a great price.

I think you should be OK with using this hay mix, especially with the allergy concern. I would make sure to choose timothy-based pellets, though.

            That is okay for bunny

If there is Orchard Grass Hay and Meadow Grass, it is a good alternative I’m allergic to hay also, so I use those 2.
